formerly known as the Engineering Building, is a 25 story  vintage high-rise office building containing approximately 322,215 gross square feet, and includes a 60-car indoor valet parking garage and two basement levels.  It is constructed on a site of 15,180 square feet (0.35 acres), just west of Wells Street on the south side of Wacker Drive, a multi-level roadway that is parallel to the south bank of the Chicago River.  The average typical floor plate is approximately 10,500 net rentable square feet.

The parcel is located in a highly visible and strategic location in Chicago’s Central Loop submarket. The property provides numerous on-site  amenities including a restaurant, sundry shop, valet parking, and travel agency. 205 West Wacker is a building with much history.  It is one of the last buildings designed by the architectural firm of P.H. Burnham.  The property was opened to the public in 1928.  During the time it was designed in the late 1920’s, many office buildings being constructed were devoted to the use of its occupants in specific lines of business or industry.  For example, many buildings were built under the names of “Lumber”, “Railway”, “Bankers”, “Jewelers”, and other exchanges.
