A key component of the greenest beer ever is green brewing, so the Brew Dogs devised a plan to put Chicago's trademark winds to work atop 205 W Wacker.
Scottish "beer evangelists" James Watt and Martin Dickie explore the American craft beer scene and create locally inspired brews. There is no better city than Chicago to create a Green St Patrick's Day brew and no better location than the roof top of 205 West Wacker. Right in the heart of downtown with amazing, panoramic views of the skyline and green river the Brew Dogs went to work.
St. Patrick's Day in Chicago inspired Watt and Dickie to brew the greenest beer ever brewed. Getting flavors and coloring from jalapenos, cucumbers and chlorophyll while powering the entire process by windmill. The Brew Dogs definitely fit in well with the building's efforts to function greener.
